Animojis Takeover TV

We're convinced that movies and TV shows are just better with Animojis.

As iPhone X owners know, the phone’s TrueDepth camera can analyze your changing facial expressions and movements in real time in order to mirror those expressions with dozens of different Animoji in the Messages app. In short, if you’ve ever wanted to create and share short videos of yourself as a talking cartoon monkey or unicorn, Animojis were made for you.

In their latest short video on YouTube, Corridor Digital proves that Animojis are also well suited to some of the most iconic characters from the worlds of television and film. Guaranteed to produce a few chuckles, this montage of clips from movies and TV shows — including ‘Stranger Things,’ ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘The Office,’ ‘Arrested Development,’ ‘Alien,’ and ‘Full Metal Jacket’ — reimagines familiar scenes as interactions between barnyard animals, jungle creatures, and mythical beasts. Highlights include the Bluth family from ‘Arrested Development’ impersonating chickens with the heads of a rabbit, a pig, a cat, and, finally, a rooster. And who could make a better “poophead” emoji than Jim from ‘The Office?’
