The Air Jordan 11 holds a special place in our heart as possibly the best Jordan ever. The patent leather and fluid design make it a design that is hard to beat, so whenever a new colorway is announced, it is a big deal. Students and alumni of Georgetown may be scratching their heads as the long awaited Air Jordan 11 Retro Low ‘Grey Mist’ gets a launch date. The colorway is inspired by the prestigious school, with blue patent leather and grey mesh harmoniously creating a summer worthy look, but unfortunately the “Georgetown” 11s are a reference to MJ’s game-winning shot against Georgetown when he was a student at the University of North Carolina. Let’s hope that now the Georgetown team is backed by the Jordan brand, things are not be as bitter as history may make it to be.
