This latest model from the small, independently run 6B military inspired mechanical wristwatch brand, is a breathtakingly simple but elegantly designed timepiece. The MK3 ‘Scramble’ feels almost like a memento from a by-gone era where men still wore suits to fly on airplanes and unabashedly ate rare steak for lunch.
Designed as an upgrade to 6B’s line-up, the ‘Scramble’ personifies the effortlessly cool and collected vision that the brand is headed in. It’s simple yet stunning dial is assembled with sub dials and concentric circles. The watch’s slim sword hands and white lume pips provide a bold bit of contrast with its piercing black dial housed underneath the domed, anti-reflective crystal. Like its other MK counterparts, the ‘Scramble’ has a German made case to house the 7750 thoroughly.
The ‘Scramble’ also has the option for either a solid case back or display back on its standard 37mm case (40.5mm with crown dimensions). It’s 13mm thick profile provides the right amount of heft and presence to be featured on a wrist.
Adding to the stylized military look, the ‘Scramble’ comes artistically presented in an ammo box in a choice of gray or black finish with two straps, in sharp black nylon and weathered brown leather; one Phoenix NATO G10, and a leather wallet.
