Porsche doesn’t do “mild,” and the new 2026 Cayenne Turbo Electric proves it. As the most powerful production Porsche ever built—yes, ever—this all-electric SUV unleashes a staggering 1,139 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque, numbers that leap straight into hypercar territory. The result? A head-snapping 0–60 mph run in just 2.4 seconds and a blistering 9.9-second quarter-mile, making even the outgoing Turbo GT suddenly feel… slow.

This fourth-generation Cayenne launches as Porsche’s first fully electric SUV platform, riding on a new 800-volt architecture with a 108 kWh structural battery pack integrated directly into the floor. Not only does this reduce weight and height, but it also lowers the center of gravity while actually increasing headroom—a rare trick in the EV world. The pack supports 400 kW charging, meaning a 10–80% charge can take under 16 minutes on the right station. A Tesla NACS port comes standard, with faster charging possible using the included adapter.

Performance hardware remains unmistakably Porsche. Both models feature two-chamber air suspension with PASM, with the option to step up to Active Ride for true sports-car composure. The Turbo model adds direct motor oil cooling, P Zero R tire options, and 600 kW of regenerative braking—allowing the motors to handle 97% of braking forces.

Visually, the Cayenne Electric sharpens Porsche’s design language with an elongated wheelbase, lower roofline, sculpted intakes, and active aero blades on Turbo models for improved efficiency. Inside, a new curved-glass display system centers around a stunning 12.25-inch touchscreen with an ingeniously angled lower contour that improves ergonomics.

With prices starting at $111,350 for the base model and $165,350 for the Turbo, the 2026 Cayenne Electric is an all-out statement: Porsche’s future isn’t just electric—it’s explosively fast.
