The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ is a beast on wheels, perfectly blending everyday usability with racetrack prowess. This powerhouse packs an extra 26 horsepower and 37 lb-ft of torque, rocketing from 0 to 124 mph in just 10.9 seconds, a full half-second faster than its GT 63 sibling. With a top speed of 197 mph, the GT 63 Pro ensures you’re not just driving but flying.
Mercedes-AMG CEO Michael Schiebe calls it “the perfect blend between the day-to-day usability of the GT 63 and a racetrack tool.” The secret to its enhanced performance isn’t a mechanical overhaul but sophisticated software tweaks that push the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 to 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. This potent engine pairs with AMG’s active ride control suspension, active roll stabilization, and rear-wheel steering for impeccable handling.
But the GT 63 Pro isn’t just about raw power. It boasts improved airflow thanks to a redesigned front fascia and upgraded cooling circuits, ensuring optimal drivetrain temperatures even during intense track sessions. New radiators in the front wheel wells and actively cooled top-mounted radiators for the differentials and transfer case further boost performance.
Stopping power comes from AMG’s carbon ceramic composite brakes, which have six-piston calipers and massive 16.5-inch front rotors, the largest offered by AMG. These brakes are paired with lightweight 21-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, with ultra-grippy Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires available at no extra cost.
Aerodynamic enhancements include an active air control system in the front fascia, an active underbody aero, and a fixed rear wing, all contributing to a more stable high-speed ride. The GT 63 Pro also features carbon fiber accents, black-painted brake calipers, AMG Performance seats, and a Nappa leather and microfiber steering wheel.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+, set to hit U.S. dealerships early next year, promises to elevate your driving experience, both on the road and the track.
