The Mercedes Benz CLS 450 is the final stop before crossing the AMG border. It’s a fastback coupe with four doors, and Mercedes Benz has unveiled its latest, restyled generation. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLS 450 coupe is ready for its close-up wearing a revised front grille, restyled wheels, and AMG-line profile. Inside the new CLS sedan, the interior shows a new steering wheel with sensor pads integrated into the rim to detect your hands when using the Mercedes-Benz semi-autonomous driving systems.
Mercedes-Benz has introduced starling blue metallic (spectral blue metallic in Europe) for the 2022 CLS 450. Customers can opt for a premium color like jupiter red, cashmere white magno, or emerald green from Designo. Match open-pore brown walnut and high-gloss grey wood colored trim to either neva grey, magma grey, sienna brown, or black upholstery. Or ask Designo about their two-tone Nappa-leather upholstery color options.
Powering the new 2022 CLS is the 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six engine producing 362-horsepower matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission. New for 2022 is Mercedes Benz’s 4Matic all-wheel-drive system that is now standard, which means no more rear-wheel drive. Pricing is scheduled to be announced closer to the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLS launch in early 2022.
