Ahead of the Paris Auto Show in October, the all new 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE has officially made its premier. Achieving a harmonious balance between emotional response, pure power, pristine handling, and a timeless sense of beauty, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE features high-grade technology, craftsmanship, and much needed interior upgrades.
The extended wheelbase creates an additional 69 mm of legroom in the second row, as well as a 33 mm higher ceiling for added headroom. In other words, people-watching in traffic just became a lot more entertaining. For the power needed to accelerate quickly in almost any condition, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE features a six-cylinder engine with an additional 48-volt technology to create 367 hp and 358 lb-ft of torque. The EQ Boost function adds up to 22 hp and an additional 184 lb-ft of torque for those short “I just got out of a traffic jam and the open highway beckons” bursts. From the more appealing headlights and redesigned grille to the transferable torque between axles for an enhanced off-roading experience, we can’t wait for the new year to arrive.
